Beautiful vintage 1940s-50s kimono robe in a rare dark forest green silk with a floral pattern. This is an under-kimono called a Juban. It has a white cotton lapel with extra padding and there is a woven haneri collar attached. It is lined in cotton. This kimono has been shorted by simple tacking stitches at the waist, this can easily be let back down to gain about 2 more inches in length. See how this was done in the two images on the left side of the 4th photo, showing the interior and exterior at the seam. In very good condition, just a little discoloration on the outer haneri collar at the neckline. See right side of the last photo.
