Vintage 1930s Silk Kimono Robe / Pink and Red Shibori Dyed Silk




Beautiful vintage 1930s kimono robe in pink silk crepe dyed with a red and white shibori pattern. This is an under-kimono called a Juban. It has a natural cotton muslin lapel and a white haneri collar attached on the upper portion of the lapel. The bottom of the haneri not sewn down, this is the normal way a haneri is attached. It is lined in silk. In very good condition, showing a few faint spots, one small pinhole and there is a little fray to the lining where it meets the pink silk near the hem on the inside. See photo.

Around body – 46 inches (116.84 cm) when flat and overlapped as in the diagram 
Length from shoulder to hem – 47 inches (119.38 cm) 
Sleeve to sleeve width – 50 inches (127 cm)
Sleeve length – 24 inches (60.96 cm)
