Amazing! Vintage wrap skirt from the 1970s. Bright red hand dyed batik with a celtic horse print. Made of heavy weight cotton. Very long length, not lined. In excellent condition, there is a bit of stitching along the waist band on the portion that wraps underneath which might be a previous mend or it might be simply how it was originally made, it is not visible when wearing, see last photo.
Has only a small size 10 tag. There is no stretch to this fabric.
Shown on a size 12 dress form (the form measures 38″b/29″w/38″h), this skirt is best fit for up to a size 12 maximum. Please refer to measurements in inches taken while laying flat and doubled where appropriate.
Waist – 26 inches (66.04 cm) minimum up to 29 inches (73.66 cm) maximum, based on amount of coverage available – note that 29 inches is the size as shown in the photos on the dress form.
Hips – 36 inches (91.44 cm) when tied at smallest waist size
Length – 42 inches (106.68 cm)
Ties – 20 inches (50.8 cm) and 28.5 inches (72.39 cm)
