Fabulous 1940s to early 1950s vintage genuine alligator skin handbag by Sterling USA. Short strap and gold-tone metal frame clasp. Interior zipper pocket and other pockets. Fully lined in leather. In excellent condition, there is very minor wear on the edges and a small split on the bottom which does not effect use. See last photo.
